Our school successfully held the 11th Annual Meeting of "Transportation Research (Shanghai) Forum"

In order to promote the development of transportation discipline and strengthen personnel training and academic exchanges in the field of transportation, our university recently hosted the 11th annual meeting of "Transportation Research (Shanghai) Forum. Chen Honghai, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Hefei University of Technology, Professor Yang Xiaoguang of Tongji University, co-founder of the conference, and Bai Xiushan, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School ofAutomobileand Transportation of Hefei University of Technology, attended the annual meeting forum. Domestic well-known experts and scholars in the field of transportation to carry out academic research around the forefront of the field of transportation. The opening ceremony was presided over by Long Jiancheng, Dean of the School of Automotive and Transportation Engineering.

First of all, Deputy Secretary Chen Honghai, on behalf of the university, expressed a warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to all the participants for attending this annual meeting, and introduced the development history of Hefei University of Technology and transportation discipline. Chen Honghai pointed out that this annual meeting is not only a platform for the exchange of teachers and students and scientific and technological talents in the field of transportation in China, but also an academic feast for the industry to explore new topics and new discoveries. Then, Professor Yang Xiaoguang and Secretary Bai Xiushan delivered speeches respectively and expressed their sincere wishes for the successful holding of this transportation research (Shanghai) forum.

At the beginning of the conference, four top domestic scholars carried out a keynote report with wonderful content, cutting-edge theme and far-reaching intention. Professor Liu Pan, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Southeast University, made a report entitled "Active Control of Expressway Traffic Flow: Problems, Key Technologies and Practices". Liu Zhengjiang, former vice president of Dalian Maritime University, made a report entitled "Research Status and Prospect of Key Technologies for Autonomous Navigation of Ships,Professor Wu Jianjun from Beijing Jiaotong University shared a report entitled" New Challenges of Urban Traffic Management in the Context of Digitalization ". Finally, Professor Lu Jian, former dean of the School of Transportation Engineering of Tongji University, co-founder of TRF, gave a wonderful report entitled“Holographic Road Digital Intelligence Perception and Future Traffic Safety”. In the following 8 parallel sub-forums, 17 outstanding scholars presided over a total of 53 academic reports, and selected 6 outstanding academic papers, 14 outstanding academic reports, 2 best doctoral academic papers and 3 outstanding doctoral academic papers. 2 best master's academic papers and 3 outstanding master's academic papers.

At the closing ceremony of the conference, professor Han yin, co-founder of the conference, announced and presented awards to outstanding papers, reports and master's and doctoral papers. Bai xiushan, secretary of the party Committee of the college, andLongJiancheng, delivered speeches respectively, expressing their gratitude to all experts and guests attending the conference.Healso completed the handover between the 11th organizer and the 12th organizer on behalf of the organizerand express best wishes for the future development of the annual meeting of the Transportation Research (Shanghai) Forum.

The 11th "Transportation Research (Shanghai) Forum" annual meeting provides a good platform for cooperation and exchange for scholars in the field of comprehensive transportation and interdisciplinary research, which will better promote the development of transportation discipline and promote high-level technical cooperation, personnel training and "double first-class" construction.

Representatives of the leadership team and professors of the School of Automotive and Transportation Engineering participated in the forum online.
