魏冲锋: Dynamic Modeling and Decision-Making Framework of Vehicle-Human Interactions

报告简介:

Connected, cooperative and automated mobility (CCAM) will potentially play an important role in creating safer, more efficient and comfortable transportation systems. However, in many cases, trust between human road users and the automated vehicles are not at a satisfactory degree. Interaction-aware autonomous driving (IAAD) is a rapidly growing field of research that focuses on the development of autonomous vehicles (AVs) that are capable of interacting safely and efficiently with human road users. This is a challenging task, as it requires the AV to be able to understand and predict the behaviour of human road users. In this presentation, an overview of some key technologies in IAAD including interaction modeling, encompassing cognitive methods, machine-learning approaches, game-theoretic methods and studies at University of Glasgow in this field will be presented.

报告人简介:

Dr. Chongfeng Wei (魏冲锋), 格拉斯哥大学副教授, 英国高等教育协会会士,英国EPSRC 机器人与智能系统协会会员,任IEEE TITS, IEEE TIV, IEEE TVT, and Frontiers in Robotics and AI 副主编。魏博士领导格拉斯哥大学交互式智能车辆及移动机器人团队,课题组研究主要集中在人类启发的网联自动驾驶车辆,以及智能机械系统的动力学及控制。魏博士发表学术论文90余篇,获第二届IEEE人机系统会议、第六届IFToMM机器人机构设计学术会议最佳论文奖、第26IAVSD车辆系统动力学会议最佳学术海报奖等奖项。
